LargeScaleRC.com invites you to the largest and most diverse Large Scale R/C event to ever occur in the Midwestern United States. Innovative Hobby Product, (LargeScaleRC.com), has built a world-class venue with 5 permanent tracks, 3 large driver's stands, AMB computerized scoring system, on-site hobby shop, and lots of room for parking and camping. Scoring Transponders – Racers will be responsible for their own transponders. Transponders will be available for purchase at the on-site hobby shop under a first come, first serve basis. Quantities will be limited. Racers may still race without transponders, but they will not be scored.
All Classes are subject to change!
2wd Buggy Off-Road Race – This event is to include all 2 wheel drive 1/5 or 1/6 scale gasoline powered buggies / truggies. Let’s see the HPI Baja’s and FG buggies race wheel-to-wheel.
· Engine – 23cc to 30.5cc gasoline powered only. No restrictions.
· Exhaust – No restrictions.
· Vehicle Weight – No restrictions.
· Tires – Only commercially available buggy tires. Tires may be modified & trimmed by the racer to improve performance. No metal studs or screws.
· Bumpers - No metal or sharp bumpers.
· Fuel Tank – Must use stock fuel tank. Total fuel line length may not exceed 12 inches beyond stock length. Quick fill fueling systems will be allowed.
· Event will consist of 3 qualifier rounds (10 minutes) and 1 round of mains (30 minute A-Main).
4wd Buggy Off-Road Race – This event is to include all 4 wheel drive 1/5 or 1/6 scale gasoline powered buggies / truggies. This class will be open to MCD, Redcat, FG, and other 4x4 buggies.

· Exhaust – No restrictions.
· Vehicle Weight – No restrictions.
· Tires – Only commercially available truck tires. Tires may be modified & trimmed by the racer to improve performance. No metal studs or screws.
· Bumpers - No metal or sharp front bumpers.
· Fuel Tank – Must use stock fuel tank. Total fuel line length may not exceed 12 inches beyond stock length. Quick fill fueling systems will be allowed.
· Event will consist of 3 qualifier rounds (10 minutes) and 1 round of mains (30 minute A-Main).
2 Wheel Drive Short Course Off-Road Race – This event is to include any Large Scale 2wd gasoline powered racing trucks.
· Engine – 23cc to 36cc gasoline powered only. No restrictions.
· Exhaust – No restrictions.
· Vehicle Weight – No restrictions.
· Body - Must be a Short Course Truck body with fenders attached. You will not be allowed to start with if your body is missing.
· Tires – Only commercially available tires that are the same size in diameter and width as the stock Baja 5SC / 5T tires and wheels. Tires may be modified & trimmed by the racer to improve performance. No metal studs or screws. Pro-Line Excavator tires will not be allowed in this class.
· Bumpers - No metal or sharp bumpers.
· Fuel Tank – Must use stock fuel tank. Total fuel line length may not exceed 12 inches beyond stock length. Quick fill fueling systems will be allowed.
· Event will consist of 3 qualifier rounds (10 minutes) and 1 round of mains (30 minute A-Main).
Monster Truck Off-Road Race – This event is to include all 1/5 or 1/6 scale gasoline powered 2wd and 4wd monster trucks.
· Engine – 23cc to 30.5cc gasoline powered only. No restrictions.
· Exhaust – No restrictions.
· Vehicle Weight – No restrictions.
· Tires – Only commercially available monster truck tires will be allowed. Monster truck tires must be at least 7 inches in diameter and at least 4 inches wide. Tires may be modified & trimmed by the racer to improve performance. No metal studs or screws.
· Bumpers - No metal or sharp bumpers.
· Fuel Tank – Must use stock fuel tank. Total fuel line length may not exceed 12 inches beyond stock length. Quick fill fueling systems will be allowed.
· Event will consist of 3 qualifier rounds (10 minutes) and 1 round of mains (20 minute A-Main).
Baja 5 EDM Dirt Oval Race – This event is to include only HPI Baja 5B’s, 5T’s, and 5SC's fitted with an EDM (Modified) race body made by RCRC Racing. Similar bodies will require approval prior to being entered in the race. This is a high speed oval race where anything can happen.
· Engine – 23cc to 30.5cc gasoline powered only. No restrictions.
· Exhaust – No restrictions.
· Vehicle Weight – No restrictions.
· Vehicle Width – Axle Extenders and lengthened suspension arms may be used to widen the vehicle or create offset, but the overall gain in width from the chassis centerline may not exceed 1.25 inches from stock.
· Tires – Only commercially available tires. Tires may be modified & trimmed by the racer to improve performance. No metal studs or screws.
· Bumpers - No metal or sharp bumpers.
· Fuel Tank – Must use stock fuel tank. Total fuel line length may not exceed 12 inches beyond stock length. Quick fill fueling systems will be allowed.
· Event will consist of 3 qualifier rounds and 1 round of mains.

2wd Short Course Truck Dirt Oval Figure 8 Jump Race – This event is to include Large Scale 2wd Short Course gasoline powered racing trucks. In this event, the trucks will race on the oval track with a crossover in the center of the oval. There will be a ramp set-up so that the cars will jump the intersection and on-coming traffic. This will be an exciting event!
· Engine – 23cc to 30.5cc gasoline powered only. No restrictions.
· Exhaust – No restrictions.
· Vehicle Weight – No restrictions.
· Body - Any Short Course Full Body. Fenders must be attached.
· Tires – Only commercially available tires that are the same size in diameter and width as the stock Baja 5T tires and wheels. Tires may be modified & trimmed by the racer to improve performance. No metal studs or screws. Pro-Line Excavator tires will not be allowed in this class.
· Bumpers - No metal or sharp bumpers.
· Fuel Tank – Must use stock fuel tank. Total fuel line length may not exceed 12 inches beyond stock length. Quick fill fueling systems will be allowed.

Non-Competition Events
Drag Racing – Drag racing is where 2 vehicles line-up on a starting line and take off together to see which car crosses the finish line first. This event will be open to all participants and all classes. The drag strip will be shared with the sled pull track.
Big Gas Bash – This activity will be open for most of the weekend. This event will be open to all participants and all classes. This is a non-scored event that will take place on the Dirt Off-Road Mild Track. Just show-up with your car or truck and drive for as long as you want. This is a great opportunity for beginners to learn to drive with other vehicles on a track and for leisure drivers to enjoy themselves without the pressures of racing. Track Activity may be limited during the competition Event due to Flying Dust. These tracks are not watered.
Daredevil Challenge – This activity will be open for most of the weekend. This event is available to all participants and all classes. This is a non-scored event that will take place on the Dirt Off-Road Extreme Track. Just show-up with your car or truck and challenge your skills for as long as you want. Even the most seasoned driver will find this course challenging. This event will attract extreme bashers and those who want to test the durability of their vehicles. If you like high-flying jumps and major obstacles, then this is your calling. Track Activity may be limited during the competition Event due to Flying Dust. These tracks are not watered.
Long Jump – This is the grand finale for obvious reasons. This is where the participants will go all out for bragging rights by attempting to launch their vehicles the longest distance. This event will be open to all participants and all classes. This event will take place on the Drag Strip.
