WT-990 High Performance Racing Carburetor

Walbro WT-990 high-performance carburetor. This is the carburetor recommended by Zenoah for upgrading your RC-style engine. Engines with the standard carburetor (WT-603, WT-668, etc) tend to experience a lag in low-end acceleration when tuned for peak power. Carburetor specs: Walbro WT-990. 15.88mm bore, 12.7mm venturi, independent tunable high and low speed jets. This carburator does not have an internal choke.

The WT-990 Carburetor is the same as the WT-813 WITHOUT an internal acceleration pump.

Fits Zenoah G23LH / G2D / G230RC / G260RC / G231PUH / G260PUH / G260PU / G231PUM / G260PUM engines. Also fits Chung Yang CY23RC / CY26RC / CY27RC / CY29RC / GP290 engines.

Note: This carburetor now comes standard with modified throttle shaft, so it will work perfectly in most R/C applications such as HPI Baja, FG Modellsport, etc.

 

This carburetor does not have a choke, but still starts reasonably well with a few extra pulls when the engine is cold.

 

*Basic Needle Settings:  Low = 1 turn, High = 1-1/2 turns

 

(*Needle settings may vary depending on altitude, temperature, and humidity.  We recommend richer settings to start and then lean the carburetor as needed.)
