The new Hostile heat shield redirects the hot air blown off the motor. Many people have noticed that the right rear shock is always the first to require a rebuild while many racers have also noticed the right rear shock is the first get warm and fade. This air “scoop” directs the hot motor air away from the right rear shock eliminating the “fade” of the shocks performance as well as increasing the life of the shock. This inexpensive part offers several benefits. This scoop has 2 holes that allow mounting on both CY and Zenoah motors and shrouds.
