Being that the current brake system is a metal on metal system, the steel plates and aluminum disk will heat up during your run and the surfaces will start to gall each other. Being that aluminum is a softer material it will take the brunt of the damage and soon enough with more heat and excessive galling the stopping power of the OEM brakes are little to none. So why keep a system that wouldn’t even be used on a bicycle, motorcycle or full size car; let allow your race car!?
